Experience report lived in the Canarana Settlement, in the Municipality of Conceição do Araguaia - PA

Abstract

The present report aims to show the practice and experience in the stage of obligatory experience
of the students of the agronomic engineering course of the Federal Institute of Education,
Sciences and Technology of Pará - Conceição do Araguaia Campus, held in the Canarana
Lote 10 settlement, in the municipality of Conceição do Araguaia. The main objective is
to integrate the students into the rural environment, making them intercalate the theoretical
experience of the classroom, with the practice in the field. The process of the living experience
in the locality mentioned between March 6 to 16, 2017 took place. The daily life of the students
was adapted according to the activities of the resident farmer, and a schedule was established
establishing the schedule and tasks to be developed. The experience attributed an innovative
character of learning that contributed to the academic and professional life of the students,
where they could make direct exchanges of knowledge with the farmers.
