Programa de Pós-graduação em Agroecologia e Desenvolvimento Territorial: uma análise da formação interdisciplinar de profissionais da agroecologia

Abstract

This article presents the analysis of the experience in the Graduate Program in Agroecology and Territorial Development (PPGADT).  Created in 2019, the program has a professional doctorate modality and is part of the interdisciplinary area of ​​CAPES and it articulates the University of Vale do São Francisco (UNIVASF), the State University of Bahia (UNEB) and the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE). With an emphasis on the Brazilian semi-arid region, despite its youth, the PPGADT has contributed to the training of professionals in agroecology from a critical and holistic perspective. This work aims to analyze principles, methodology, curriculum structure and challenges we have faced in practice, reflecting on the program's contributions to strengthening education in agroecology in the northeast region of Brazil, based on the experience in the associated UFRPE.
