Abstract

This study investigates the effect of biofertilizers on the production of agroecological cotton in an agroforestry system. Biofertilizer treatments at concentrations of 5% and 7.5% were applied and compared to a control group. Results showed that the 5% dosage promoted the highest productivity at 11.054 kg, while the 7.5% concentration enhanced stem diameter and flower count but did not increase total productivity. The findings suggest that biofertilizers, particularly at moderate doses, are an accessible and sustainable alternative, supporting family farming by reducing dependency on chemical inputs.
