Sítio Duas Cachoeiras: practise training course of professionals and children in agroecology

Abstract

Sítio Duas Cachoeiras was chosen for practical agroecological experiences through an internship
and brought in addition to agroecology knowledge about early childhood education. During
this experience the most varied activities in the field could be carried out with the objective
not only of the mechanical execution of tasks, but mainly of observation in the methodology of
achievement, based on agroecological principles, since it was focused on the perception of the
functioning of nature, respecting to the maximum the environment and also the reflection on
the importance of the education of children realized in the property. The internship allowed the
expansion of knowledge, brought new perspectives and improved the vision about the systems
of production from the perspective of agroecology and the importance of education in the field
for the maintenance of culture and conscious formation of children and young people.
