Abstract

Autonomy is the main feature of the subsystems of creating family agroecosystems to build
redesign plan. The objective of this study was to analyze five properties of the agroecossystem
to redesign livestock production subsystems.The dialogue with farmers is important to start
this redesign, to know the characteristics to be modified in order to improve the sustainability
of agroecosystems of family farmers. In this work we adopted the qualitative research at a
participating social group of sustainable rural development project with the data analyzed by
content analysis.
