Memory game with the theme of sustainability: Encouraging Environmental Awareness

Abstract

Memory Game, a fun resource that is quite popular among preschool and elementary school levels, is a game known to stimulate reasoning, as well as attention and memory. However, By introducing the theme of sustainability, the game can become a strengthening tool in the environmental education process. Therefore, this work aims to explore how the memory game, addressing issues such as conscious consumption, the preservation of natural resources and the importance of maintaining species for our biodiversity, it can contribute to the formation of conscious citizens who value the conservation of nature. Based on this, we propose the creation of a game that will raise awareness among students about environmental issues in a fun and interactive way, encouraging a change in behavior regarding the use of our natural resources and contributing to agroecology.
