Filosofia da tecnologia: contribuições para o conhecimento agroecológico

Abstract

The objective here is to approach philosophy and agroecology with the objective of to reflect
on the impacts of science and technology (S & T) on the agroecological transition. To do so, issues
related to science, technology and society (STS) will be articulating. The effort is justified,
to reflect if the current model of production and diffusion of (S & T) promotes agroecological
practices. It is a theoretical study that mobilizes different areas of knowledge, therefore, analytical
readings have been made that pass through the themes of the Philosophy of Technology;
CTS; And Agroecology. The results indicate that conventional technology may not be the most
suitable for agroecological production. Therefore, it is necessary to question the technology
to approach it agroecological practices. Thus, the concept and practices of social technology
(TS) can be an alternative for the construction of agroecological knowledge and production.
