Abstract

Consumer collectives are groups which seek alternatives for a new dynamics of food production
and marketing, questioning the conventional based on costumer’s desire and need. Acting
straight into agroecology, these groups esteem the ethical and transparent relationship between
producers and consumers. In this report, a field-city relationship experience is presented
from the activities of the Urban Rural Consumption Collective - Organic Solidarity, founded in
November 2014 at the Federal University of ABC - Santo Andre. The experience points out
how the principles and activities of the group connect with the construction of agroecological
knowledge, proposing a solidarity relationship among those involved.
