Abstract

The present work had the objective of reporting the experience of the articulation of agroecology
groups and social movements linked to the southern field of the state of Minas Gerais. These
are groups formed by students, teachers and administrative technicians of public institutions
of higher education in the region. The articulation happened spontaneously and generated the
union of the groups in actions as the organization of academic, scientific and cultural events.
Spaces that first of themselves do, a link of interaction and exchanges of knowledge, apparently
without great transforming effects, but provoking discussions and occupying spaces,
echoing the theme of agroecology within institutions. This type of articulation tends to suppress
the difficulties experienced by agroecology groups on a daily basis in higher education institutions,
presenting itself as a possible strategy.
