Agroecological map: building a systemic perspective of familiar farms

Abstract

The participative methodology of the Agroecological Map transformed the dynamics of the
visits of the technical team of the project “Agroecology, homeopathy, health and safety in the
field”. In a simple and objective way, the map design with family farmers allows an insight into
the interaction between the elements of the family unit and broadens the discussion on management
practices and/or agroecological redesigns capable of reducing or eliminating the need
of the external inputs, stimulating a short, medium and long term vision for the agroecological
transition.
