Abstract

The experience works learner’s living in the activities developed by rural producers at PA Curral
de Pedra, south region of Pará. In this context, familiar farmers search sustainable means
of production like technologies that guarantees more autonomy of its feedstock through the
processing of its production in own propriety. Therefore, in the same place described during
the studying, explanatory practice shows the model of short agrifood chain: the production of
cupuaçu (Theobroma grandiflorum), made to the storage, processing and production of vitamins
to the sell, realized processes and managed by own producer. It is concluded through the
learning with short chains of production that the familiar farmers have developed it shows the
possibility of social insert within a context of income opportunities extension when they produce
verticalizing their production used like only way, and linking to their identities as owner, in
parts, of the empirical knowledge.
