Abstract

The objective of this work was to evaluate the agronomic indices achieved with the carrot and
cabbage consortium with mustard in two spaces, in agroecological systems. The experiment
was conducted in the Agroecology sector of the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo - Alegre
Campus. In the spatial arrangements, a randomized block design with eight treatments and
four replications, spacing E1 (1,00 x 0,50 m), cabbage in monoculture, cabbage x carrot consortium,
cabbage x mustard; In the spacing E2 (0,50 x 0,50 m), cabbage in monoculture, cabbage
x carrot, cabbage x mustard, carrot and mustard in monoculture 0.15 m, and throughout
the cycle of cabbage the carrot was replaced by mustard. The consortium showed greater
efficiency when compared to monocultures.
