Abstract

This article aims to report the experience of Project Tipitamba of Embrapa Eastern Amazon
in discussing strategies of agroecological approach with educators in the rural schools of the
Northeast of Pará, using the Embrapa Minibraries as a tool. A meeting was conducted to
promote experiences exchange between educators and to discuss strategies to articulate the
use of the collection in disciplines of rural schools course curriculum, providing knowledge exchange
about agriculture without burning and rural education among educators, researchers
and technicians. The formation of an interdisciplinary group was proposed for the exercise of
contents collective production, valuing the creation of specific regional materials. The educators
evaluated as a stimulating and important meeting for the emergence of new projects in
their rural communities due to opportunity to knowledge exchanges and encourage to caring
the environment.
