Agroecological transition in the community of anselmos, Baturité-CE

The present work aims at tracing an experience of a family farmer in the community of Anselmos,
in the state of Ceará, and how changes occurred in their management practices through
the adhesion to the Ater Agroecology project. The transition process started from the motivation
with the different techniques learned through the activities of knowledge construction. As actions
of the project have been carried out through the accompaniment to the family agroecosystem
guided by the systemic view, taking into account a popular wisdom and a collective construction.
A methodology used for the bi-annual interview to know and contribute to the family transition
process. It was possible to observe some changes, through the adhesion of agroecological
practices such as the rescue of creole seeds, the use of bioprotectors, diversification without
agroecossystem, as well as a strengthening and improvement of the quality of life.
