The agro-ecology praxis as tool for the agro-ecosystem transition: The collective experiences of the community of the Revesso, Garrafão do Norte – Pará

Abstract

The small plant production collective of the Revesso community was formed from a demand
from farmers in the communities who sought through the STTR / GN a partnership with the
NEA / CP. This partnership aimed to stimulate the diversification of production systems. On
June 10, 2015, it was decided that four collective nurseries would be built that would partially
meet the demands of these communities and among these communities was the community
of the Revesso that had the implantation of its nursery on July 9 and 10 in a joint effort Which
had the presence of all social actors involved in the planning of it. After the beginning of the
work in the nursery one of the practices that became common were the work in together that
contributed in the execution of the activities in the nursery and facilitated in the implantation of
the diverse SAF’s, that occurred in the years of 2016 and 2017 and were Results of the activities
developed in the collective.
