Corn productivity in manipueira use

Abstract

The manipueira has potential as a source of macro and micronutrients. The present experiment
aimed to analyze the development and productivity of maize fertilized via foliar with several
concentrations of mango juice diluted in water. The experimental design was a randomized
block design, consisting of six treatments, five replications, totaling 30 experimental plots (3,20
mx 3,0 m each). The treatments were characterized by doses of manure diluted in water of the
base in the following proportions: Witness, 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of manipueira. The
dosages were applied once a week. Evaluated were stalk diameter, plant height, leaf number
and yield. The results indicated that for the productivity, 25% treatment was higher. It was concluded
that the manipueira can be used as an alternative source of nutrients for the maize crop.
