Internship between agroecology nuclei contributing as propagator of agroecological knowledge

Abstract

The stage of living in agroecology at NEPA - Center for Studies and Research
in Agroecology at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology
Goiano - Campus Urutaí, is intended to extend the group’s mission related to
contributing to sustainable development and improving the quality of life of the
population, through the sustainable use of natural resources and the production of healthy food.
The experience consists of a theoretical and practical approach of themes related to agroecology
and activities carried out at the Agroecological Farm Vivá of IF Goiano Campus Urutaí.
The experience stage allows us to understand that the knowledge developed in NEPA, nucleus
of the central-west region, has a conceptual connection with some practices developed by
NACEM - Cerrado Mineiro Agroecology Manter - Located in the southeast region. And that the
interchange between the groups propitiates the increase in the propagation of the agro-ecological
knowledge.
