Abstract

This is an account of an experiment developed by the Nucleus of Studies and Extension in
Agroecology of the University of Araraquara, in the years 2015 and 2016, focused on the
training and accompaniment of producers of vegetables, settlers, Aiming at the possibility of
agroecological conversion. These actions were developed with producers of the Bela Vista
Settlement of Chibarro, located in the city of Araraquara, SP, specifically in the Pedra D’Água
and Chico Bento vegetable production groups, prioritized in the processes of observation and
intervention. The methodology of the research-tion was used, through continuous trips to the
field, with registration in journals. In this report, the training experience and its results are prioritized.
Among them, the construction of a fair of organic products, Da roça para a mesa: fair of
healthy foods in the space of the University of Araraquara-SP, expression of the perspectives
of new fronts of commercialization.
