Abstract

Since 2007, the number of organic product fairs hás been increasing in the city of Belém-Pará,
in order to market or ganic products and value local agriculture. The methodology used for the
construction of this work was bibliographic research, fieldwork and semistructured interviews.
From our research we intend to address the importance of Organic Fairs for the commercialization
of Farmers’ Products, as they constitute short circuits and as farmer shave the fairs
appropriate. The refore under stand how the Short Circuits at the fairs cooperate for the reproduction
of the peasantry through agroecology. With the result of the analysis of 4 organic
fairs that carry out the direct sale of ecological and sustainable products. Concluding that even
presenting difficulties due to the spaces where these circuits take place the commercialization
of the products guarantee a greater visibility and recognition of the peasant production.
