Agro-ecological caravan of the Center-West: building knowledge, flavors and the way of life

Abstract

The present work aims at exposing the experiences of members of the Agroecology Center for
studies of Savannah of Minas Gerais region (NACEM), in the Agro-ecological Caravan of the
Center-West, Reporting the experience of knowing other regions of the country since we are
located in the Southeast region, in Alto do Paranaiba, the possibility of observing the diversity
of the biome of other regions, exchanges of agro-ecological experiences along the journey and
cultural traditions. Another key point of the caravan was the possibility of establishing contact
with other Agroecology Center for studies, and discuss about the difficulties, experiences experienced,
and increase the network of agroecology.
