It reports on the experience of students, teachers and advisors linked to Bachelor-Agroecology-
UEPB. In addition to the preparation on the social dynamics of Agroecology in PB, the
students were approached experimental farmers linked to CASACO-ASA Cariri Oriental Collective
by articulation of NERA-Agroecological Rural Extension Nucleus, linked to UEPB-PB.
The connected farmers were João Batista and Dona Socorro de Boqueirão-PB. A methodology
followed 2 phases, beginning with an agroecosystem recognition visit and its structural and
functional components. This approach and analysis, as well as a theoretical introduction, was
carried out without first semester. In this first phase, the critical points, potentialities and a perspective
of future changes were presented, with presentation and debate among all. Already in
the following semester, the work collectively built a proposal of practical action with the family,
resulting in a joint effort to build an underground dam.
