Construction of the Agroecology Network of Alagoas for the systematization of the interinstitutional actions of agroecology

Abstract

The construction of Agroecology Network of Alagoas has as purpose the accomplishment of
a set of activities that aim to qualify and orchestrate the articulation within the entities that acts
with a unified and propositive agenda, in order to promote agroecology in different territories.
This process of articulation includes the execution of: i) agroecological and cultural caravans;
ii) construction of a popular communication network; (iii) thematic seminars; iv) technological
extension actions; and v) implementation qualification programs for students, agricultural technicians
and small farmers as social technology multipliers. These activities will be carried out
in articulation with the current NEAs, nucleus in formalization phase and informal agroecology
groups linked to educational institutions, as well as agents of ATER linked to public institutions,
non-profit organizations, rural social movements and social organizations that work in each
location as associations and cooperatives of peasants, indigenous people and quilombolas
among other public and private social actors.
