Abstract

In this report, we present a test of commercialization with organic products, provided by the
Cooperativa Agropecuária dos Productores Familiares Irituiense - D’Irituia. The objective of
the study is to approximate the relationship between producers and consumers of the municipality
of Castanhal in the state of Pará. The test is carried out on the campus of the Federal
Institute of Castanhal / IFPA, within the framework of the Núcleo de Estudos em Educação e
Agroecologia na Amazônia/NEA. The conditions of realization were agreed between researchers,
students and members of the cooperative. The NEA is responsible for marketing and
selling products. The cooperative was responsible for offering the list of availability of products
during the year, with their respective prices, in addition to transportation. The Experience has
shown that there has been a good acceptance by consumers who see this initiative as an important
alliance to strengthen more secure ties about the provenance of their food.
