Abstract

Arugula has been gaining ground at consumers’ desks, but is suffering from pest attacks,
especially aphids. Aiming a control technic less expensive and more health, homeopathy becomes
an important tool. This work aimed the utilization of homeopathic drugs to reduce the
aphids population in arugula crop. For greater reliability of the results, the experiment was
performed in BOD with controlled temperature, humidity and photophase. Were utilized six
treatments: Calcarea phosphorica 6 and 30 CH; Silicea 6 and 30 CH; distilled water and alcool
70% as controls. Were inoculated 10 aphids nymphs in each arugula plant and were sprayed,
every two days, the treatments and counted the aphids. Treatment Calcarea phosphorica 30
CH contributed to lowest aphids quantities and Calcarea Phosphorica 6 CH to highest. Taking
in count the difference in dynamization, calcarean phosporica 30 CH more efficient than 6 CH.
