Abstract

The production of organic food is of great economic-environmental importance to the world.
However, in some situations it does not have its due value, since these are agricultural systems
usually derived from family farming properties, without the use of external inputs and without
the devastation of the forest, and with the use of traditional practices, Maintaining knowledge.
The present property of organic producers allows us to show the more robust reality of an
ecological farming system, within the forest, without the destruction of it. Making use of agroecological
techniques of production, and also extractivism in primary forest. After the field visit,
it was observed the absence of pest management, difficult access to the planting site, so that
it is possible to commercialize the same prices as conventional products. The challenge of
overcoming the difficulties faced in the cultivation of organic food in the interior of the Amazon
region is great, in order to contribute to the sustainable development of this region.
