Keywords:
Coffea arabica, cultivars, production systemAbstract
The objective of this work was to compare the yield of five cultivars of coffee plant in three
different agroecological systems in two agricultural years (2012 and 2013) in the municipality
of Ivinhema, MS. The evaluated systems were: 1) single coffee crop, 2) coffee crop consorted
with banana trees and 3) coffee crop consorted with Leucaena leucocephala; the varieties
were: IAPAR 59, IPR 99, Tupi, Obatã, and Acauã. The experimental design was the complete
randomized blocks, with three essay (the different systems) with five cultivars and five
replicates. Regarding the systems, in 2012, the single coffee crop was higher with an average
productivity of 35.41 benefited bags of 60 kg per hectare. In 2013 the systems single coffee
crop and with Leucaena leucocephala stood out with 55.65 and 54.52 bags.ha-1 respectively.
As for cultivars, in 2012, Acauã and IPR 99 had the highest productivity, with 32.14 and 28.95
bags.ha-1, respectively. In 2013, there were Acauã, IPR 99 and Obatã, with productivities 51.03;
49.19 and 46.63 bags.ha-1 respectively.
