Morphoanatomical aspects of mexican mint in different types of organic system

Mexican mint is very cultivated in Brazil in urban and rural backyards and by family farmers.
Considering that the structural characterization is fundamental in quality control analyzes of
medicinal plants, the objective was to evaluate the mexican mint production and morphoanatomy
cultivated under different conditions of organic cultivation: with management, without
management and urban area. The activities aimed the data collect on the production type,
existing plants, adubation, irrigation and luminosity, as well as evaluations of the morphological
characteristics of vegetative aerial parts. The organic production with management was
in polyculture with vegetables, fruit trees and other medicinal plants, with daily irrigation and
shade cultivation. In the without management, the production was with other medicinal plants,
protected by shadows and with weekly irrigation. In urban area, the production was in public
square, where there were also other ornamental and medicinal species.
