Abstract

This paper reports on the production of potato seed with farmers using production technologies
about shoots and the use of the pit pre-planting method in two organic producers of Core
of Agroecology Studies (NEA) of the IFSP -campus Avaré. The methodology was aplied with 5
cultivars from the Agronomic Institute of Campinas (IAC) and resulted in the production of mini
seed tubers and in the production of seed potatoes with good sanity related to the virus that
can be transmitted between crop generations and at a low cost for the farmer.
