The internship as an academic formation for the agronomy course

The present work aims to present the reality lived by rural workers of the family agriculture in
a rural property in the municipality of Irituia - PA. The experience reported was given on the
occasion of the accomplishment of the stage of living of the course of agronomy of IFPA - Campus
Castanhal. The observations made during the period of the training space are a process
of transforming the family farming of a region from the organization of farmers in Cooperativa.
The production system of the farmer who owns the property where the period of experience
was spent underwent this process of transformation since the year of 2010, where a production
system based on agroecology was adopted, leaving aside the conventional system of production.
Partnerships with educational institutions and environmental agencies have enabled the
process of transforming the means of production to sustainable production to occur, making
possible the production of qualities and without aggression to the environment.
