Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the cost and rate of return of strawberry production
in a semi-hydroponic system using three organic biofertilizers (Agrobio, Super Magro and
BioFerticel) compared to conventional fertilization using ‘Camino Real’ cultivar ‘. The costing
was done by analyzing the cash book entries for the analyzed systems. The results showed
that cultivation in semi-hydroponic medium using the organic biofertilizers of the strawberry
is an interesting option for the producers presenting costs compatible with the conventional
system and the rate of return of the systems using organic biofertilizantes was superior to the
conventional crop.
