Abstract

The present research had as objective to evaluate a bioactivity of plant extracts on germination
of Sporobulus indicus. The alcoholic extracts of four plant species were evaluated at
concentrations of 0 (control), 25%, 50% and 75%. The germination assays was in B.O.D. with
temperature of 30/20º C (day/night) with presence of light for 14 hours and 10 hours of dark.
A germination rate was evaluated at the 5th and 10th days. The treatment with Quebra-pedra
extract obtained greater bioactivity on a germination of Sporobulus indicus, reaching 100%
suppression of the germination.
