ComerAtivaMente is a Responsible Consumption Group that, since 2007, reflects about the act
of consume and the eating habits of the capitalist society, seeking out practical alternatives to
the conventional hegemonic system of production, commercialization and distribution of food.
Through the establishment of partnerships and direct relationships with farmers and family
farmers in dialogue with agroecology, we seek to strengthen the agroecological transition and
to politize the act of consume. Our main results are the creation of a fair-trade circuit, the technical
assistance to farmers in agroecological transition, the realization of training activities
and the articulation and strengthening of agroecological fair-trade networks in the RMSP. They
show that commercialization within family farmers, in dialogue with the Solidarity Economy,
have a great potential for strengthening agroecology as social practice.
