The objective of the present study was to evaluate the emergence and establishment
of Cordia ecalyculata seedlingsin nursery, from fruits obtained in the forest remnant in the Água
do Caixão watershed located in the city of Bandeirantes/PR. For this, seedling emergence test
carried out, with diaspores in different stages of maturation, seeded in nursery under a nursery
covered with shading screen. The experimental design was a randomized block design with
four replicates of 50 seeds. It concluded that the stage of maturation of the fruit interferes in
the physiological quality and, in the percentage of emergence of C. ecalyculata seedlings in
nursery, it should be used red and / or orange fruits freshly harvested and pulped.
