Abstract

The objective was to expose the experience of the zootechnical bookkeeping in subsystem of
animal husbandry of familiar farmers for the collective construction of agroecological knowledge.
It was known how family farmers manage information in their animal breeding and intervention
was carried out with the implantation of zootechnical bookkeeping for the redesign
of agroecosystems familiar to rural development. The experience allowed the participants to
interact through the exchange of different knowledge, the interest of other farmers in the management
of their animals, economic improvements through the perception of the possibility
of decision making with the information generated and the strengthening of the fairness of the
farmers’ group in the community . It was suggested the action of problematizing, with the farmers,
the management practices used for the implantation of the zootechnical bookkeeping in
agroecossystems of familiar agriculture.
