Productive mandala: agroforesty yard as didactic space in the construction of agroecological knowledge at the State University of Feira de Santana

Abstract

The experience with production in the productive mandala system has provided the students
of agronomy at the State University of Feira de Santana and other individuals in the university
community a greater contact and understanding of the relations that guide the principles of
agroecology, constituting as a didactic space for the learning and exercise of the systemic
vision in the logic of sustainable agricultural production. It was possible to perceive the importance
of traditional knowledge for the construction of agroecological knowledge, established
as a double way between knowledge.
