The environmental ethics as a philosophical basis of agroecological paradigm

Abstract

This theorist essay aims to understand, from the perspective of agroecology, as the ecological
ethics can collaborate in overcoming the crisis of civilization. The Elaborations were constructed
based on a literature review. The result shows that in the perspective of the agroecological
the ecological ethics can contribute to the solution of the crisis of civilization to the extent that
proposes the construction of a planetary ethics from the expansion of the moral community up
to the limits of the biotically, surpassing the anthropocentric view of nature and assuming the
vision of interdependence with the community of life.
