Abstract

This article aims to report on the experiences of the Milton farmer belonging to the Indaiá and
Sarandi community, which has a partnership with the nucleus of research NASPO (Nucleus
of Agroecology and Organic Productive Systems) of the Federal Institute of Goiás Valparaiso
campus. The nucleus is in the implantation phase and aims to foster the development of
teaching, research and extension activities aligned with the guidelines of the National Agroecology
and Organic Production (PNAPO) policy, integrating traditional farmers, peoples and
communities, especially those residing in Rural Communities Traditional Indaiá and Sarandi,
located in the municipality of Luziânia, students, professors and researchers. In the reports
obtained by the farmer, the importance of actions to develop teaching, research and extension
activities among rural communities to improve their planting and production conditions is
shown, bringing effective techniques to farmers who often use empirical knowledge.
