Abstract

The basic sanitation is made for the health, safety and well-being of the population, avoiding
the threats caused by contamination by pathogens or toxic substances in general. In the way,
the dry toilet is a technology developed by ancestral and agroecological techniques that promote
an ecological sanitation with a low spent of energetic resources to offer basic and economic
technology for the treatment of sanitary effluents. The benefits of the dry toilet and the
absence of a proper toilet with a correct treatment for stool and urine in the headquarters area
of the Yebá make it an essential project.
