Abstract

The agroecological transition in the Amazonian environment must be constructive based on
the challenges and perspective lived by the riverside in order to seek a viable alternative for a
new extension with a view to the ecological transition. Therefore, it is of paramount importance
for extension and social inclusion actions that guarantee the maintenance and valorisation of
traditional knowledge, as well as the introduction of effective agroecological practices in the
management of production systems, strengthening the change in thinking about the commercialization
of production and food security of forest peoples, as well as opportunities in ecologically
based marketing networks.
