Abstract

The partnership resulting from the technical cooperation between the Agricultural School Médji
de Sékou (Lycée Agricole Medji de Sékou-LAMS), the Federal Institute of Brasilia-campus
Planaltina and the Federal Institute of Bahia had as its general objective the strengthening of
Beninese professional education institutions, aiming to increase the success of the insertion
of the graduates in the world of work, by fomenting the practices of cooperativism and agroecology.
The proposed methodology of training included the development of six modules of
disciplines; two technical visits of the LAMS teachers to Brazil and the creation of an incubator
of cooperatives. At the end of this project, 28 multiplier teachers were trained, who in turn will
pass on their knowledge to the LAMS alumni, fostering greater integration among the sectors
of society through the created cooperatives.
