Professional internship as educational furtherance about natural therapies at EFA Puris from Araponga MG

Abstract

The contemporary society has lived a big illness. The loss of the awareness of the relations
between the physical, biological, social and cultural environment results in great consequence
to human being and environment health. The notions about health has been debased by the
medical instrumentalism and interventionism. The Escola Família Agrícola Puris from Araponga
in Minas Gerais (EFA-Puris), since its foundation in 2008, has encouraged the use and
practice of natural therapies, being this study theme present in many activities projected by the
Political Pedagogic Project. This article shows the experiences of the Professional Internship
from the Technical Agriculture Course as an environment to build and construct knowledge
about the furtherance to use the natural therapies, besides the historical deliverance of the
uses and practices of it in the EFA-Puris. We emphasized the importance of this experience
that is added to many others activities from the school with the objective of establish relations
of cure and care with the human being and the environment.
