Agroecological fair of UFS: demands and subsidies for deployment

The ecological agriculture in Sergipe has increased in recent years. However, they needed
new points of marketing so that you can drain the production and increase income families
involved. On the other hand, the local sale of products of the Agroecology do not satisfy the
growing demand for these foods, including members of the UFS community between consumers.
In order to develop actions for the implementation of an Ecological Fair in UFS, surveys
were carried out on the demand and supply of agricultural products from ecological basis in the
State, as well as the establishment of partnerships. It was observed by the results that there
is a promising market for the products of the Agroecology on UFS, justifying the deployment.
However, it is necessary to overcome production problems through technical assistance to
farmers to adjust supply to demand, as well as terminate the cooperation agreement to effect
the implementation of the fair.
