Atributos químicos dos solos em um sistema agroflorestal (SAF) no município de Tomé-Açú, Pará

The diversification of the areas using agroforestry systems emerged as an alternative to ensure
economic and environmental sustainability in the municipality of Tomé-açu, after the monoculture
piper devastation by fusariose. This study was carried out in the Santa Luzia community,
located in the municipality of Tomé-açu, in the state of Para, Brazil, in order to compare soil
chemical attributes in two agroforestry systems with a capoeira. Soil samples at 0-5, 5-10 and
10-20 cm depths were analyzed in the laboratory of Embrapa Amazônia Oriental. It was found
that agroforestry systems maintained soil chemical attributes. It was possible to conclude that
the agroforestry systems were similar to the areas of capoeira, like chemical attributes of the
soil analyzed
