Abstract

The current work aims to present the result of the vegetative response of sweet potatoes in
relation to the different techniques of cultivation with cassava and corn, seeking to generate
alternative technologies for family farming. A trial was conducted on the CVT-CIAgro/UFG experimental
field, Jataí region. The trial was carried out in a Latin square with four replications
and four treatments with triple arrangements: longitudinally planted sweet potato + cassava
planted transversally + corn without nitrogen (T1); Sweet potato planted transversally + cassava
planted vertically + corn with Azospirillum (T2); Sweet potato planted in ring form + cassava
planted at 45 ° + maize with saltpeter (T3); and sweet potato planted with exposed tail +
cassava planted longitudinally + corn with encapsulated urea (T4). Aerial images were taken
from the assay to determine the canopy cover factor of sweet potato. After the treatment and
analysis of the images, the data were submitted to analysis of variance, indicating that there is
no significant difference in the sweet potato branch, independently of the cultivation technique.
