Abstract

In order to allow for the widening of dialogues between educational institutions, research organizations
and farmers ‘and consumers’ organizations in the socialization of knowledge around
a vibrant theme to agroecology and organic agriculture, an articulation between projects Coordinated
by professors and researchers linked to “Fazendinha Agroecológica Km 47”, which
provided the organization, in September 2015, of the 1st Conference on unconventional food
plants of the State of Rio de Janeiro. The main activities took place in Teresópolis and Fazendinha
and the public interacted all the time. There were dialogues about the preparation of food
with love, with healthy and natural ingredients and how Is the guarantee of food sovereignty for
the autonomy of a people.
