The voisin rational grazing (PRV) and the agroecological transition in family agriculture

Abstract

This report exposes the experience in five Santa Maria properties that work with the Voisin
Rational Grazing (PRV), during the months of August to October 2016, followed by an Emater
technician from the municipality. The properties presented have some principles of Agroecology
incorporated in socio-productive systems and in the environmental management of
agroecosystems. The technical actions developed by Emater do Município for the promotion
of sustainability are anchored in Agroecology and in the processes of transition to it, helping in
the conservation of the local ecosystem.
