Abstract

The purpose of this report is to present the consolidation stages of the Social Control Body
and to relate organic family farming to the strengthening of the regional market. The beginning
of the consolidation of the SCO was due to the growing demand for organic food, coupled with
the need to add value to the production of traditional rural families. The registered Organizations
are located in the region of Araraquara and are composed of families of farmers distributed
in two Settlements of the National Program of Agrarian Reform.
