Abstract

Based on the theoretical and practical issues, the actions of GAE Kapi`xawa concretizes agroecology
in a different way, and the culture was the focus of the project together with the Capoeira
Angola Around the World Group, where he worked with children and adolescents at the Luciano
school Alves Duarte in the municipality of Alegre - ES. Cultural lessons and experiences
of capoeira angola and environmental education activities were developed during 5 months, in
which children and adolescents developed skills in the core subjects. The results exceeded the
expectations of those involved in raising awareness in the multiple dimensions of agroecology,
overcoming obstacles and strengthening the confidence of learners and educators.
