Implantation of UTD Sustainable Agroecological Production (PAIS)

Abstract

The present work aims to socialize the implementation of the Technical Demonstration Technical
Unit of Sustainable Integrated Agroecological Production of the Federal Institute of Education,
Science and Technology of Ceará, Tianguá Campus, from UTD PAIS Project. The proposal
came from the need to study and raise the use of a socially based productive technology
that interfaces with environmental, economic, political, cultural, ethical and social sustainability
in family units. The UTD PAIS was implemented in the proactivity of students of the Technical
Course in Agriculture with the objective of being replicated in the productive units of the region,
initiated through an institutional context with an inseparable perspective of teaching and extension
provoked the disciplines of Agroecology, Organic Production and Extension Rural.
