Implantation of the agroecological composting system for use in organic gardens within the IFBA campus Vitória da Conquista

Abstract

This project describes the recycling process of the organic waste produced at the IFBA Campus,
Vitoria da Conquista-BA, using the agroecological composting technique. The main objective
was to disseminate the composting technique to the academic community and the
servers responsible for gardening and gardening, emphasizing benefits. The organic fertilizer
that was obtained during the execution of the project was applied in gardens constructed inside
the campus, using as compost buckets of 50 liters, besides using the minhocultura to perforate
the compost, unpacking it. The obtaining of good quality fertilizer tends to minimize the impacts
caused by the use of chemical products: fertilizers and agrochemicals, extensive monoculture
and also in family agriculture.
